Fascinator fever

Kate Middleton wore a fascinator yesterday for her visit to Anglesey, whilst hers was hand made by Vivien Sheriff Millinery, we have got a brand new workshop where you can make your own. Much more fun, not to mention cheaper!!

We keep it vintage style, using feathers, flowers and netting to create stunning and unique fascinators.

By the end of the workshop everyone leaves with their unique headpiece to take home for that next big occasion, and as the workshop is on Saturday April 16th, its just in time for the Royal Wedding two weeks later!

New year, new classes, new photos…

An exciting day today as it was the photo shoot for our brand new website pictures. The lovely Ciona Johnson-King kindly lent us her gorgeous place as a backdrop and our temperamental but talented photographer Crispin Hearn got behind the lens to take pictures of vintage jewellery, delicious cupcakes, teacup candles, iced biscuits, fascinators and a hand tied spring bouquet for our upcoming workshops. News coming very soon on all our new spring classes.

Afternoon Tea – Iced Biscuits

Mother’s Day and Afternoon Tea go hand in hand so we’ve come up with a clever and crafty twist on traditional tea and cake! Learn the professional way to ice biscuits (in the shapes of teacups, a teapot, cupcakes and flowers) just add a cuppa and you’ve got all you need for a perfect afternoon tea. The 2 hour workshop is on Saturday April 2nd, just in time for Mother’s Day on April 3rd! We’ve only got one place left for the afternoon session, so we’ve added another class in the morning.
