We love all things festive so naturally our Christmas wreath making workshops is one of our favourites of the year. Combined with mince pies, mulled wine it puts everyone in a very Christmassy mood by the end of the session.
Christmas wreath making
We have 2 different wreath making classes:
‘Coming Up Roses’ uses fresh roses in either winter white roses and eucalyptus or festive red roses with dark green foliage. The wreaths are real door show stoppers, but they need to be made in the 2 weeks before Christmas to ensure the roses will last through to New Years Day.
‘Coming Up Roses’ wreath making workshop
‘Pinecraft’ everyone is given ready made wreath bases in classic blue pine and then can decorate from a choice of seasonal foliage, we used holly berries and leaves, rose hip berries, peppercorn berries, sea holly, birch and dried oranges as the embellishments.

Both wreath making workshops are fun to do, in fact we think it’s even more fun accompanied with a glass of mulled wine and mince pie! By the end of the Christmas wreath making session, everyone can take home their creations and add some instant festive cheer to their front door.

Why should the kids have all the fun with Christmas craft activities? I Made It Myself have a selection of fun, stylish and grown up Christmas crafts for corporate parties, press days and events… For groups of 10 and over, the sessions can be sit down 2 hour masterclasses, quick drop in’s, or anywhere in between, we can tailor our ‘Christmas Crafternoons’ for a bespoke experience.
I Made It Myself Christmas craft activities
Choose from our stylish and seasonal selection of hands-on activities: Christmas bauble customising (our personal favourite!), Christmas paper craft and gift tag making, gift wrap masterclass with lots of fun ideas, Christmas wreath making (go deluxe with roses, or classic and trad), Christmas stocking decorating and good old Christmas jumper accessorising, (although strictly speaking its a Christmas sweatshirt rather than a jumper).
We are not adverse to a bit of festive sparkle but we do try to keep glitter to a minimum (it can get everywhere!) – but please note, we are a strictly tinsel free zone!
We’ve been feeling some summer vibes with two beach inspired activities; tote bag printing and summer cocktail cupcakes especially for Enjoy Work event at Chiswick Business Park.
Firstly we did beach bag printing with a tropical theme – we had pineapple, watermelon slices and palm tree stencils but it was the flamingo that proved the most popular! We used bright coloured screen paints and sponges to transform a plain cotton tote into a summer beach bag!
We also had a summer cocktail cupcakes (or cup-tails!) decorating activity. We chose our favourite retro holiday cocktails, pina colada, mojito and tequila sunrise to give the humble cupcake a beach cocktail twist.
You could bake your own cupcakes, but on this occasion we used the ready-made plain, vanilla cupcakes from Waitrose. We went shop bought because for this event it was all about the decorating, so we were focused on perfecting those buttercream swirls and decorating with cocktail garnishes!
With the tote bag printing plus cocktail cupcake decorating, there was some totally tropical, crafty fun (with or without the sun).
