Take a jam jar, a selection of foliage, filler flowers and focal flowers, add ribbon and a tag and you’ve got a modern twist on a traditional floral bouquet. We used Spring flowers including hyacinth, daffodils, tulips, ranunculus but can be adapted according to season and occasion.

Candle making parties are great fun and popular with everyone, (it’s rare to find someone who doesn’t love a good candle) plus it’s a handy skill to learn! For the activity, everyone learns what’s involved to make a good quality, scented candle. Everyone prepares the wax, wick, chooses a scent, (rose, lavender, fig and vanilla are some of the most popular), then hand pours the scented wax into glass votives. After a quick tea break the candle wax is set and packaged up in a luxury gift bag – makes a great memento of the day.
