With over 20 years experience our teacher James is one of the country's leading candle makers, and has been involved in making candles for TV shows such as Channel 4's 'Kirsty's Home Made Home', film franchises Harry Potter and James Bond, as well as rock stars to royalty!

In just two hours you'll learn all you need to know to ice biscuits beautifully. Our teacher Hyun will demonstrate and guide you through the techniques of colouring, piping and 'flooding' using royal icing for a smooth professional look, then its up to you to personalise for the finishing touches.  You'll be in good hands, Hyun has been named Britain's best iced biscuit maker by Homes & Gardens magazine.

You'll leave with 6 decorated biscuits of your own creation as well as a guide containing tricks of the trade so you can continue to bake and decorate at home.

NB. Please bring a suitable container to take your biscuits home in. Alternatively we have tins available to buy.

Learn two different types of jewellery making techniques to create your own bespoke pairs of earrings. Choosing from a wide selection of vintage beads, pearls, chains and charms, you will design and make at least two pairs to take home from simple drops to show stoppers. All earring hooks will be brand new and gold or silver plated.

BRAND NEW natural soap making workshop.  Learn to make natural soaps using the traditional cold process method and create your own nourishing and moisturising bars of soap, use lavender or gerianium essential oils to scent, or leave unscented if you prefer.   

You'll be guided through each stage of the process and you'll be trained in all aspects of safety, particularly when handling lye (Sodium Hydroxide and water).

You're soap will need 4-6 weeks to cure, so you'll take home your soap in a mould, with instructions on how to store the soap at home, how to cut it into bars and how to test when it is ready to use - and enjoy.

If you love pampering as much as we do, indulge in our luxurious new workshop where you’ll learn to make two of our signature beauty products – a sumptuous bergamot and rose petal bath soak and a gorgeous geranium and orange infused body scrub. Both products will leave your skin feeling silky soft, deliciously moisturized and heavenly scented. Using pure essential oils and natural ingredients only, you’ll create your very own bath treats from scratch from blending oils to learning key techniques in mixing and melting, learning beauty’s best kept secrets along the way. Bath time will never be the same again.

Learn to decorate cupcakes in this fun culinary workshop. Our teacher Pamela will guide you through the basic craft of cupcake decorating and teach you some clever techniques which can be adapted for other types of cakes. You'll learn the professional way to colour, create smooth surfaces and swirls with a piping bag, then personalise your cakes with a variety of toppings including edible glitter, sprinkles and your own handmade fondant shapes.

You'll leave with 6 decorated cupcakes of your own creation as well as a receipe sheet so you can bake and decorate at home.

Add a bit of vintage glamour to your look by making your own bespoke necklace or bracelet.  Choose from an inspiring selection of vintage pearls, gems, chains and charms and with step by step guidance you'll learn how to construct your own piece of jewellery.

We provide all the equipment and materials, but if you have any jewellery whether its your Granny's old brooch or a favourite piece that's broken and unloved, bring it along to incorporate into your design.

By the end of the workshop you'll have mastered the basic techniques of jewellery making and will have created your own unique item of jewellery to take home. You will also be given a guide sheet with a list of tools and materials needed, instructions, and a resources list so you can continue creating at home.

This is an introductory class for beginners using feathers, flowers, netting and sinamay to create a beautiful fascinator.

With step by step guidance you'll learn how to use specialised materials and hand-sewing techniques. You will learn how to design your own fascinator to suit your face shape, as well as how to build your fascinator to be either a beautiful minimalist design or a showstopping headpiece. You'll personalise your fascinator by choosing every aspect from a selection of carefully chosen materials. Please note if you have any old brooches or favourite trims such as feathers, ribbons, or flowers that you don't know what to do with, you could incorporate them in and give them a new lease of life. If you have a special occasion in mind for your fascinator, feel free to bring along the outfit or a colour sample so that your teacher can help you match it to your creation.

By the end of the workshop you'll have mastered the basic techniques of fascinator making, and will have created your own unique headpiece to take home for that next big occasion.
